Cookie policy

  1. The platform does not automatically collect any information except for information contained in cookies. Cookies are information technology data, in particular text files, which are stored in the end device of the Platform User and are intended for the use of the Platform’s websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website of their origin, their retention time on the end device and a unique number. The entity placing cookies on the Website User’s end device and accessing them is the Website Operator, Ratna Stal sp. z o.o., based in Wrocław, ul. Fabryczna 6 (Carbon Tower), 53-609 Wroclaw.
  2. Cookies are used to:
    1. customize the content of the Platform’s websites to suit the User’s preferences and optimise User experience; in particular, these files allow to identify the Platform User’s device and correctly display the website tailored to their individual needs;
    2. create statistics that help to understand how the Platform Users utilise the websites, in order to improve their structure and content;
    3. maintain the session for the Platform User (after signing in), so that the User does not need to enter their username and password on each site of the Platform.
  3. The Platform uses two main types of cookies: session and persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User’s end device until they sign out, leave the website or exit the software (web browser). Persistent cookies are stored in the User’s end device for the period specified in the cookies’ parameters or until removed by the User.
  4. The Platform uses the following types of cookies:
    1. essential cookies that allow to use the services provided by the Platform, e.g. authentication cookies used for services that require authentication within the Platform;
    2. Security cookies used e.g. to detect fraud in authentication within the Platform;
    3. performance cookies that allow to collect information about how the Platform’s websites are used;
    4. functional cookies that allow to “remember” the User settings and to customize the User interface, e.g. in respect of the selected language or region of the User, font size, website appearance, etc.;
    5. advertising cookies that allow to deliver advertising content to the User that is more relevant to the User’s interests.
  5. In many cases, web browsing software (web browsers) by default allows cookies to be stored on the User’s end device. The Platform Users can change cookie settings at any time. These settings can be changed in particular in such a way as to block automatic cookie support in your web browser or to notify the Platform User whenever cookies are placed on their device. Detailed information about the options and ways of handling cookies is available in the software settings (web browsers).
  6. The Platform operator informs that restrictions on the use of cookies may affect some of the functionalities available on the Platform’s websites.
  7. Cookies placed in the Platform User’s end device may also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Platform operator.
